A slot is given to the student on a “First Come-First Served” basis. Each student is provided with a seat number based on his/her date of confirmation of enrollment. Students enroll through the bank (BPI/PNB) or mail a Postal Money Order (PMO). They must email or mail the completed enrollment form (which can be downloaded from our website) and the image of the BPI/PNB bank deposit slip, or mail the PMO. The BPI/PNB bank deposit slip should be presented to us on the first day of class for issuance of the official receipt. The student will be notified about his/her status of enrollment by email or by phone upon receipt of his/her payment.
II. SEAT NUMBER
Seat assignment is dependent on first-come, first served basis. Observe punctuality to get seats on the first rows. Students with hearing or vision problems are also given front seats.
III. CHOOSING A SECTION
The student should indicate in the enrollment form a first and second preference for a section in the review class. If only one schedule is preferred, cross out the blank space for the second choice in the enrollment form. We do not allow change of sections. Students who would like to be together in the same class should enroll at the same time. The student is placed in his/her first preference if a slot is available. Otherwise, he/she shall be placed in the indicated second choice. Payment will be refunded if and only if no slots are available to the student in both preferred sections and no parallel sections can be created.
IV. REFUND OF REVIEW FEE (FOR ONLINE & FACE TO FACE REVIEW) AS OF MAY 05, 2020
The reservation fee (P10,000 for NMAT) is inclusive in the review fee. It is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the student has paid the full review fee and decides to cancel enrollment, the net refundable amount is shown in the table below:
|Number of Days before the
first day of review class
|Refundable Amount = (Total Review Fee – Reservation Fee)|
|30||100 % of the refundable amount|
|15-29||50% of the refundable amount|
V. SPECIAL REQUEST OF THE STUDENT:
A student who wants to be placed in the same venue, section and schedule as his/her classmates or friends, he/she should formally make this request in writing at the time of enrollment. If the request cannot be granted by our center, the student will be notified, and any payment (except the reservation fee) will be refunded in full.
VI. PAYMENT OF REVIEW FEE:
The review fee should be paid in full on or before the start of review classes. Partially paid slots will be reallocated to waitlisted but fully-paid applicants on the first day of classes. We are not going to issue any forms of refunds to a student who fails to pay the full amount of review fee and the allocated slot will be awarded to a waitlisted enrollee.
VII. EXTENSION OF PAYMENTS
Extension of payment should be formally requested by the parent/guardian of the student and the request is granted on a case-to-case basis. There will be NO penalty charges or interest for extension of payment but the student will be automatically removed from the roster of enrollees if the payment is not received on the extended due date.
VIII. DRESS CODE:
LEARNFAST sets mandatory dress code to encourage our students to express their individuality through personality and academic achievements, not outward appearances. Students must wear closed shoes and clean, presentable clothing which do not distract others.
IX. PROPRIETARY REVIEW MATERIALS:
Our review materials should not be used and/or reproduced in any form without the written consent of LEARNFAST. Students should not record or video tape the class proceedings of the class. The students shouldn’t share copies of review materials with anyone who is not enrolled in LEARNFAST.
Our students are not allowed to share, distribute or reproduce copies of all practice tests and homework problem sets to any non-LEARNFAST students. Students are required to compile their LEARNFAST review materials in a ring binder with no other materials from other review centers.
X. PUNCTUALITY AND DISCIPLINE:
LEARNFAST will expel a student who exhibits disruptive behavior inside the classroom. Examples of conduct and behavior that may lead to expulsion include the following: harassment, coming to class under the influence of alcohol or prohibited drugs, theft, damaging company property, lack of interest or very poor motivation level, disrespectful to the teacher and staff of LEARNFAST.
Students are given printed copies of the class schedule ahead of time to avoid missing classes. Students may make-up a missed class by sitting in other available sections. The sit-in fee is ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED PESOS (PHP 1,200) per session. If sit-in is not available, the student may make-up through one-on-one session with a fee of PHP 1,000.00 per hour.
Review materials are provided free to an absentee but he/she is still required to complete and submit all the test taking activities that are assigned as homework problem sets.
Late students will only be allowed to enter the lecture room during breaks to avoid disruptions.
XI. Assessment of Students
LEARNFAST always seeks to deliver high quality services to our students. Our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, however, does not guarantee the student’s success in the actual national examinations. Students need to do their part and study hard to achieve very good results in these exams.
